As part of an ongoing partnership, Rallye Acura will be donating $25 to St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children for every new vehicle sold between Nov. 29 and Dec. 11. This donation pledge is part of Rallye Acura’s involvement in St. Mary’s Kid’s Day, an initiative encouraging St. Mary’s various partners in the five boroughs and Long Island to come up with unique ways to show their support for the organization.
“St. Mary’s does so much for so many children throughout New York, it is truly an honor to help them any way we can,” said Joseph Stanco, president of Rallye Auto Group.
St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children serves 4,000 children every day throughout the New York metropolitan region at home and in multiple locations, including St. Mary’s Kids at Roslyn, located approximately two miles from Rallye Acura. The organization is one of only a handful nationwide that is dedicated to providing intensive rehabilitation, specialized care and education to children with special needs and life-limiting conditions.
In addition to its own St. Mary’s Kid’s Day event, Rallye Acura will be supporting The Bay Terrace’s St. Mary’s Kid’s Day event, A Day With Santa, on Saturday, Nov. 30, which will feature Christmas Caroling and a tree lighting by Santa’s Workshop. The dealership will provide a late-model NSX supercar to be put on display for children and their families.
“We are very thankful for the continued support of dedicated partners like Rallye Acura,” said, Dr. Edwin Simpser, interim CEO and President of St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children. “On behalf of the thousands of children we care for each day, we’d like to say thanks to the entire Rallye team for believing in possible, and for supporting New York’s sickest children.”
Rallye Acura kicked off its partnership in March with St. Mary’s by donating $5 to the organization for every “like” Rallye Acura received on its Facebook page throughout the months of March and April. The dealership also provided support for the 9th Annual Walk for St. Mary’s Kids on May 19th in Belmont Park, which raised over $140,000.
