For the 11th time in the dealership’s history, Rallye Acura has received the most prestigious honor bestowed on an Acura dealership. The Dealership of Distinction award, which is presented by the manufacturer, recognizes the dealership’s success in achieving a rigorous set of objectives for the 2013 program year.
Throughout its longstanding partnership with the Long Island Red Cross, Rallye Auto Group President and CEO Joseph Stanco has been an instrumental part of the dealer group’s continued support of the organization. In honor of his service, the Long Island Red Cross has announced that Mr. Stanco is the 2014 recipient of the Long Island Humanitarian Award.
“We worked together with Joe for a while now, and the nature of his character and his willingness to give back to the community make him an ideal recipient of this award,” said John Miller, CEO of the American Red Cross on Long Island. “He has a tremendous heart, and he’s a tremendous human being.”
As part of an ongoing partnership, Rallye Acura will be donating $25 to St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children for every new vehicle sold between Nov. 29 and Dec. 11. This donation pledge is part of Rallye Acura’s involvement in St. Mary’s Kid’s Day, an initiative encouraging St. Mary’s various partners in the five boroughs and Long Island to come up with unique ways to show their support for the organization.
